Welcome to Raqs Fitness.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Raqs Fitness website, purchase of class passes, bookings and participation in classes. By accessing our website, booking a class, purchasing a class pass or attending a class, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our services. These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy and Website Terms of Use.
Participants must be at least 16 years of age to attend independently. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless approved by Raqs Fitness. You confirm you have the legal capacity to enter these Terms.
Participation involves physical activity. You confirm you are medically fit or have sought appropriate advice, will exercise within your limits and will stop if unwell. Please notify the instructor of any relevant medical condition, injury or pregnancy.
Participation is undertaken at your own risk. Raqs Fitness takes reasonable care to provide a safe environment. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Bookings are confirmed once payment is successfully processed. Prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST where applicable. Confirmed bookings are not affected by later price changes.
Casual Classes, 5 Class Passes and 10 Class Passes are available. Passes are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash and expire in accordance with the applicable policy unless otherwise required by law.
Our Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms. Refunds for change of mind are not provided. Your Australian Consumer Law rights remain unaffected.
Participants arriving more than 10 minutes late may be refused entry to minimise disruption and maintain safety.
Classes may be cancelled, rescheduled, relocated or taught by a substitute instructor. Where we cancel a class, a replacement class, class credit or refund will be offered.
Participants must behave respectfully. Unsafe, abusive, threatening, discriminatory or disruptive behaviour may result in refusal of entry or removal without refund.
Photographs or videos may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes. Please advise your instructor before class if you do not wish to appear.
All branding, logos, choreography, website content and class materials remain the intellectual property of Raqs Fitness unless otherwise stated.
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

This policy explains how bookings, class passes, cancellations, transfers and refunds are managed by Raqs Fitness. By making a booking or purchasing a class pass, you agree to this policy.
Classes may be booked in advance through our nominated online booking platform.
Subject to availability, participants may also purchase a casual class ticket at the door or in person before the commencement of a class.
A booking or ticket purchase is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received by Raqs Fitness.
Class places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. While we will make every effort to accommodate walk-in participants, entry cannot be guaranteed if a class has reached capacity. Raqs Fitness reserves the right to refuse entry where a class is full or where participation may compromise the safety or enjoyment of others.
Raqs Fitness currently offers Casual Classes, 5 Class Passes and 10 Class Passes. Class passes are valid for the period advertised at the time of purchase and are for the sole use of the purchaser unless otherwise stated.
Payment is required at the time of booking or, for walk-in participants, before the commencement of the class. Payments may be made using the payment methods accepted by Raqs Fitness. All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Raqs Fitness reserves the right to amend its pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.
The 5 Class Pass is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. The 10 Class Pass is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Expired classes cannot generally be reinstated unless required by law or approved at our discretion.
You may cancel a booking up to 4 hours before the scheduled class start time. If cancelled within this timeframe, your class credit will be returned to your account. Cancellations made less than 4 hours before class, or failure to attend, will normally result in the class being forfeited.
Participants arriving more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time may be refused entry where joining the class would be unsafe or disruptive. In these circumstances the booking will generally be treated as a late cancellation.
Casual class bookings may be transferred to another person with prior notice to Raqs Fitness. Class passes are personal to the purchaser and are not transferable.
If a waitlist is introduced, participants offered a place are responsible for attending or cancelling in accordance with this policy. Standard cancellation timeframes apply once a booking is confirmed.
Classes may occasionally be cancelled, rescheduled, relocated or taught by a substitute instructor. Where Raqs Fitness cancels a class, participants will receive a replacement class, class credit or refund, depending on the circumstances.
Refunds are not provided for change of mind, unused class passes, missed classes or late cancellations. Requests arising from illness, injury or exceptional circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis with supporting documentation. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a payment is declined or reversed, Raqs Fitness may suspend future bookings until the outstanding amount has been paid.
We may amend this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website and will apply to future bookings.
